In conjunction with the project “Exploring Elastic 3D Spaces: bodies and belonging” funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, and in collaboration with Elastic Spaces (https://www.elasticspaces.hexagram.ca/), the Immersive & Creative Technologies Lab (www.theICTlab.org) at Concordia University is recruiting a highly-motivated researcher for a Post-Doctoral position.

The position is full-time and is funded for two years, starting in September 2017 or January 2018.

Academic Requirements:
We are looking for highly motivated and creative individual who enjoys working in a collaborative research environment. Good communication skills and fluency in English are required. Applicants should have a strong academic training, including an undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant discipline i.e. HCI, computer games, computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or statistics, and have excellent mathematical skills. Having experience with augmented/virtual reality, interaction technologies, 3D computer vision, graphics, robotics, or a related area, and a background in machine learning techniques is desirable and will be considered a plus.
